We celebrate independent filmmakers here at Adventureland. They are both starving artists and struggling entrepreneurs. Driven by passion and restrained by budget. The vast majority of us can relate on some level. Unlike their Hollywood mentors, they lack huge crews, famous names, big budgets, and guaranteed distribution. Whether you are able to join the cast or crew, back their film, share their trailers, or just enjoy their efforts. All of them would really appreciate your support. Candy found Dreams Come True Films. A family-owned Christian film company. Their film portfolio can be found on Amazon Prime. Sadly, she has retired. The Text is her last film.
Cameron delayed film school for military and family. Motivated by his Stephen King's Dollar Baby experience, he worked his way through film school as a filmmaker -- graduating at the top of his class.
Director April Wright is a Chicago native working in LA. Her love for the golden age of cinema shows in her own Going Attractions franchise where she tells the story of drive-ins & movie palaces. She is working on a 3rd Going Attractions film & even unveiled a drive-in sequel.
SANDY SLAVIN
Sandy works in the healthcare field to feed her passion for filmmaking. Her experience shows in Losing Breen -- now on Amazon Prime. Today, Sandy Slaven Pictures has 2 films coming soon --The Doorman and Rose Wagon.
